Susanne Sundfør’s musical background is mixed, but her songwriting moves between jazz, rock and pop. Sundfør’s voice is a powerful instrument, and she is often compared to both American artists such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King, and compatriots Ane Brun and Thomas Dybdahl. She has enjoyed considerable chart success in Norway this spring with her debut.
