It’s tender yet dark and eerily alluring, it’s alternative, yet still pop. Maria Køhnke has been around the Danish rock scene for years, some of which she has spent playing with the likes of Kira And The Kindred Spirits and Swan Lee. Earlier this year, however, her solo debut was released, and both the album and her warm-as-velvet voice were lauded by the press.
