Some of the first things you notice about Helgi Jonsson are his great vocal range and how well his songs suit his voice. In many ways he is not quite unlike Norwegian Magnet, but Jonsson writes songs in both Icelandic and in English. Currently living in Austria, the versatile Icelander has toured all over Europe as a trombonist – for Sigur Rós among others.
